Q-Bones Barbeque: Down home goodness straight from the heart of the BBQ Belt
With the goal of selling his all-natural, gourmet sauces and rubs on the shelves of Whole Foods, chef and founder, Ben Wilson, approached Word Refuge for branding and copywriting services to complement his top-quality brand.
After thorough research of the many different styles of Southern style q-ing, along with the huge number of competitors playing in the pit, we developed a solid marketing message and tag-line to set Q-Bones apart.
Word Refuge then wrote the product descriptions for the barbecue sauce labels and website, followed by the development of a press kit for distribution to retailers, at barbecue trade shows and within contests (the Company Philosophy written for the press kit is also found on the website).
